[ LOOK AT ME ]
The latest addition to Gatecrasher's Summer Sound System is Faithless, the "biggest and most elusive band in dance music." After a two-year hiatus, the band recently returned with the hit single 'We Come 1' and will be unveiling the contents of their upcoming album Outrospective at the Summer Sound System. According to frontwoman Sister Bliss (pictured above), the group is flying in from Sweden specially for the festival, and it will be the first time any of the material on 'Outrospective' is played live. Bliss also stated that Gatecrasher is the only festival that Faithless will be playing this year. For more information...

[ WE COME FROM THE LAND OF CHOCOLATE ]
Trance-master Paul Van Dyk will be making an appearance at this year's Summer Sound System, and quite a long appearance at that: He's slated to spin for three full hours. (Although that's nothing when compared to his famed six-hour marathon sets for Gatecrasher at the Republic.) Most notable about his performance, however, is that the first hour of it will be broadcast live on Radio 1 as part of Pete Tong's Essential Selection. Spread on the sweetness.

[ PLUMPS WHEN YOU COOK IT ]
This news flash is only half complete. The fact of the matter is that The Crystal Method will be going on tour this summer to promote their forthcoming sophomore release Tweekend. The tour has been cleverly dubbed 'The 7-Day Tweekend Tour.' (Don't the let the name fool you; the tour is more than seven days long.) At the current time, no venues or dates are known. We should have them soon, however, so be on the lookout.
